OUR KING, OUR LORD

When most people accept Jesus as their Savior, that is all they want as time goes on. He is put on the back burner, as they say. Many don’t mind Jesus as a King. A King that sits on His throne somewhere far off.

But, when you ask Jesus to come into your heart, you don’t get just a Savior. You get a King and Lord. Lord means a Ruler of your life. That means you turn your life over to Jesus. You are to obey.

Roman 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. (NAS)

Please read this verse again and take notice of the phrase, “Jesus as Lord.”

Romans 10:13 for ”WHOEVER WILL CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED.” (NAS)

Keeping Jesus as Lord is hard. God sent the Holy Spirit to help us. He is with you moment by moment.

So bow before Him as your Lord.

BREATHE ON ME, OH GOD

Breathe on me, Oh God. Put more love in my heart for you. Keep me within your love. Put Your words in my heart and mind. Let my mouth always speak Your truth.

Breathe on me, Oh God. Do not let my spirit wander from Your presence. Keep me next to You as Your servant. Keep me so close that I can feel Your joy. Close enough to weep with You.

Breathe on me, Oh God. Cause my spirit to live in thankfulness. For there is no greater love than Yours to me. Guide my prayers in worship of You. For You are worthy above all.

Breathe on me, Oh God. I want every moment to be for You. I want to carry Your wisdom to others. Raise me up to share Your love. Help me to bring Your love to the hearts of others.

Breathe on me, Oh God. I want to cherish Your words. To treasure Your people. Lord, manifest Yourself quickly. Your people want to worship You upon Your throne. Amen
