Romans 8:36-37
36 Just as it is written, “For Thy Sake We Are Being Put To Death All Day Long;
We Were Considered As Sheep To Be Slaughtered.”
37 But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.
Beloved friends, ask yourself this.
Am I a conqueror through Christ, for the most part, or is my life lived mostly in defeat, from God’s point of view. Do you expect God’s blessings no matter what you do? Are you willing to give your best each day and not live in defeat?
We must learn to spend time in prayer. Prayer is the key in a victorious day. The Lord Jesus intercedes for us constantly. But the Holy Spirit intercedes for us too. We may pray, but we do not understand the ways of God. We do not know what to pray for or how to pray or in a way that meets God’s way. Or how to pray that goes into ways that work together for our good. The Holy Spirit is our dear friend.
