Genesis 2:7 continued

Man was a unique creation of God which He has given the very creation of His being. Each of us is so loved by God. Jeremiah 1:5 states, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, And before you were born I consecrated you: I have appointed you a prophet to the nations.” God has appointed a purpose for each of our lives. Now if we follow that will is up to us. One of the most beautiful purposes of all is raising children to love the Lord.

Psalm 139:13-17 “For Thou didst form my inward parts; Thou didst weave me in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to Thee, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Thy works, And my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from Thee when I was made in secret, and skillfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Thy works, And my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from Thee, When I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth. Thine eyes have seen my unform substance; And in Thy book, they were all written the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there was not one of them. How precious, also are Thy thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them.

There are many scriptures about the unborn and God’s love. There are consequences listed for those that kill unborn babies and children. Two examples are II Kings 19:11-22 and Leviticus 20:1-5. You may ask, what about rape? Do two wrongs make a right? Does a rape and then an abortion make anything right? Give the child up for adoption if you can not bear having the child. Something good did come out of the ordeal. As for you, only God can help you overcome the wrong that was done to you.

Even though the breath of God is really unknown, we know God is involved in our creation just by scripture. We only know that He gives something of Himself to each of us. This image is not our physical form, but something greater.

God blessed Adam. That means man was blessed to be near God. Being near God and His holiness is the blessing. We would learn of goodness by walking with Him.
