Responding to God’s invitation to salvation is the most important thing that anyone can ever do. It’s not enough to believe in God in an abstract or general way; we have to receive this amazing gift through personal faith in Jesus Christ. A person can achieve incredible success in life or reach the peak of their profession, but if they don’t know where they’ll spend eternity, they’ve missed the greatest invitation of all.
The life Jesus offers is all about relationship. Many people faithfully sit in church but have no personal relationship with Jesus. It’s not about joining a club; It’s about falling in love with our Savior—a love that will impact every area of our lives.
Jesus has made the path to heaven as simple and clear as possible. “I am the way” (John 14:6 NLT). Heaven is not the default destination for every human being, but we get to choose it by faith. We are invited to respond to God’s invitation to life.
We can’t even begin to imagine how mind-blowing heaven will be. I want you to be there. God wants you to be there. That’s why Jesus came!”
In this unique time of this generation, we need to go forth to bring the weary and lost to the fold of peace and hope. Prayer is necessary for the Holy Spirit to go before us. I believe God has prepared circumstances to prepare people to accept and love Him. But, His voice for this generation is you. Will you accept Jesus’s commission?
We are called to holiness. We are called to speak Truth. Rejoice for God is preparing the hearts of many during this time. Be counted worthy to be His Voice. Take His divine assignment.
I believe , what we are experiencing now, is not the pains in the tribulation, but the pains that could launch us into the pains of the tribulation. We are in the period that is mentioned in Matthew 24:14, in that the gospel is preached in the whole world. When you take the word of mouth, television, and computers, I think it has been preached throughout the world. But there are more to rescue.
This is a fierce spiritual battle, which bleeds into the physical. I have never seen so many physical battles in just one year. Think about how many things are happening all at once. We have the pandemic which hurt many families. We have economic problems stemming from the pandemic. We can add fires, floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, and the list goes on.
Cancer seems to invade so many families. My family before me did not experience cancer. My daughter died at the age of 14 from cancer. My husband survived. I have cancer in the lungs and now maybe cancer elsewhere. Cancer centers are crowded with people of all ages.
Through all though, you can make spiritual deposits by teaching others about Jesus and give them love with joy. Ask God to put love in your heart for Him and others. From that comes joy and peace.
Beloved,
has God ever given you a word to say and you kept that message to
yourself. God will get the message to that person, but you missed
the opportunity to share those words. Most of the time it is just a
few words. I have missed opportunities too. I want to give some
examples where God did bless His words going forward and allowed me
to go with Him.
One morning I was listening to a radio shortwave station located in the north. The host said that they had a million listeners. God told me to call the station and give them a message. I wrote down what God wanted me to say. I wanted to make sure I said exactly what God wanted me to say because I was nervous. I think I had only been listening to this show only a few weeks, so I did not even know the feel of the show. I did not know how God’s word be received. The first caller was on the air. I dialed and thought I would not be able to get on the air. I forgot for a moment who told me to call. I got on immediately. I did the regular pleasantries. Then I said, “God told me to share something with your audience. May I?” He said, “Sure.” I said, “What if your blessings of tomorrow, depended on your thankfulness today.” That was it. I really did not think much about it after that. A few weeks after that time I stopped listening to the radio due to other things I needed to do.
Then about 20 years later, I was in a Bible class and my leader said, “Don’t you just love the saying, What if your blessings of tomorrow depended on your thankfulness today.” I was shocked. I had been thinking I must be missing something because I was not seeing God move for a time. You know one of the lies Satan uses to take joy. God brought to my mind, that He is in charge of His words. We just need to share them in truth and love.
Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be which goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it (NAS).
For about 12 years, I was in the tape ministry at our church. These were sermons from our pastor. He would do word studies, and go into the Greek and Hebrew in a message. I would send these messages out into the world. One missionary would give them to a bush pilot and he would drop them in the interior. Then he would spread the word to people that lived in the interior and did not leave the area.
Another example was with a lady missionary and the Lord lead me to ask her if she needed anything. It was after my father passed away and I wanted to tithe some of the money to ones spreading the word. I expected some need she might share. She did not ask anything for herself. She said they were having a Ladies Retreat and needed some money for that to add more ladies . I sent enough for 13 or 14 more ladies to attend. After the retreat, she sent me a letter saying that 12 of the extra ladies accepted Jesus. I was so thankful to the Lord that He allowed me to be a part of His word going forward.
I
would love to hear examples of how all of you have shared God’s word.
Fill up the comment section so we all can learn and be alerted to
other ways to share God’s word. Are you teaching or something else?
How about taking children to church and come up with a way to share
God’s word with them. We can all learn from your experiences. God
will bless every word you share.
Dear Ones of the Lord Jesus, it is love that gives our lives the fullness with peace and joy for our journey here on this earth. Remember when you fell in love for the first time and how your heart became so full that you did not know if you could contain that love within you. We need to strive to carry within us a fullness of love for Jesus Christ. As we mature in our love for Jesus Christ, we are able to love others more fully. For when we love Jesus to the point where we cannot contain it, the love flows in such a way that others around you feels that love. That is when you carry God’s presence’s and majesty to others. It is here that you feel God’s perfect peace.
I have seen Christians become so hostile to the sins of others. They are especially hostile to other Christians. Our heart is to look at others in love. Does your heart feel the presences of God when you approach others in sin. There is a saying, and I do not know who began this but it says something like, “Don’t judge others because their sin is different than yours.”
In Matthew 18:15-20, gives further instructions on how to approach those that need Christian discipline. This is a command on how we are to do this discipline. First we are to go to them privately with deep love. If they repent,he is then restored in the fellowship of God and service. If there is no repentance, we are to take one or two more with us and speak to them. These other will be witnesses. If there is still no repentance, then you go to the church. We are to keep God’s name holy.
Beloved, in all these steps, they must be covered with deep prayer to have the Holy Spirit go before you. You must carry with you God’s love and His presences. You must feel the pain that Jesus feels over this precious wounded one. In Luke 15:4, Jesus talks about leaving 99 sheep to look for one.
Matthew 7:1-5, speaks about removing the log out of your eye before removing the speck in another’s persons eye. This must be done before you approacyh another and this must be done with scripture. The same scripture that Jesus uses to judge. Consider this passage as qualification of you judging. Christian discipline should be the highest form of Love. Any other form is sin.
I can not remember Jesus being hostile to any individual in sin. Yes, He was angry with groups of religious leaders and in the temple, but never individuals. If you know of any scripture in the New Testament, please let me know.
Let me again, state the importance of asking God daily to put more love in your heart for Him. The more you love Him, the more you are able to love others. I did not think I could love my husband, children and grandchildren any more than I did at some point in time in the past. Your love to others can grow by leaps and bounds. Then your ministry can grow by leaps and bounds. You being a servant of Jesus Christ can grow deeper. Your love can cause the Holy Spirit to move in greater power. More love can move you deeper into God’s heart. You can express God’s love to the world in ways you never imagined.
Now for the all importance of Saul’s conversion to Paul on his way to Damascus (Acts 9:4). It says, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?” Jesus did not say why are you persecuting my children. Jesus said, “persecuting Me.” When the Lord repeats a name twice, you better listen because He means it is very important. When the Lord brought this to my attention, I immediately thought of cross words to my husband and other Christians. It is the same as those words being said to Jesus.
I pray that your heart is so filled with love, that you remember this before the fact and not afterwards, as sometimes I do. Ask Jesus to put more love in your heart starting now.
