Are You Afraid

Surely the Lord God does nothing unless He reveals the secret counsel to His servants the prophets. Amos 3:7

Some Saints today are afraid of our tomorrows. Beloved, the more we pray, the more our fears dissolve. I have written about entering the throne room of God, so I will not write about that at this time. I hope to give you some hope.

Hope is fragile. It must be nutured by prayer. God wants you to sit with Him. He wants you to voice your concerns and then sit quietly and long for His presences with you. By praying about your concerns and protection, He will set in motion the leading of you to places of protection. Also, He sets His timing in place. Have you ever came upon an accident and thought, if you had been 10 seconds further down the road that you would have been in that accident, That has happened to me. I thanked God immediately.

Amos 3:7 says, “Surely the Lord God does nothing unless He reveals the secret counsel to His servants the prophets.”

Genesis 18 tells of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. In Jeremiah 23:22-23, God says, “But if they had stood in My council, then they would have announcved My words to My people (your family)…Am I a God who is near,” declares the Lord, “and not a God far off? Can a man hide himself in hiding places, so I do not see him?” declares the Lord. “Do I not fill the heavens and the earth.” declares the Lord.

Men of God, you are the head of the family and your main focus is praying, worshipping God, listening to God, and leading your family. Serve God and others with love. Ask God to put more love in your heart for Him. Then that love will spill over to your family and others. That love will be the perfume poured over Jesus feet that will be a frangrance in the Throne Room of God.

In This Unique Time

In this unique time of this generation, we need to go forth to bring the weary and lost to the fold of peace and hope. Prayer is necessary for the Holy Spirit to go before us. I believe God has prepared circumstances to prepare people to accept and love Him. But, His voice for this generation is you. Will you accept Jesus’s commission?

We are called to holiness. We are called to speak Truth. Rejoice for God is preparing the hearts of many during this time. Be counted worthy to be His Voice. Take His divine assignment.

I believe , what we are experiencing now, is not the pains in the tribulation, but the pains that could launch us into the pains of the tribulation. We are in the period that is mentioned in Matthew 24:14, in that the gospel is preached in the whole world. When you take the word of mouth, television, and computers, I think it has been preached throughout the world. But there are more to rescue.

This is a fierce spiritual battle, which bleeds into the physical. I have never seen so many physical battles in just one year. Think about how many things are happening all at once. We have the pandemic which hurt many families. We have economic problems stemming from the pandemic. We can add fires, floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, and the list goes on.

Cancer seems to invade so many families. My family before me did not experience cancer. My daughter died at the age of 14 from cancer. My husband survived. I have cancer in the lungs and now maybe cancer elsewhere. Cancer centers are crowded with people of all ages.

Through all though, you can make spiritual deposits by teaching others about Jesus and give them love with joy. Ask God to put love in your heart for Him and others. From that comes joy and peace.

WHEN THE HOLY SPIRIT SUGGEST YOU PRAY

Two nights ago the Holy Spirit burdened my heart for my youngest daughter and her family. They went to another state to move my oldest granddaughter’s things from her college dorm. This “shelter in place” happened while she was home for spring break.

The Holy Spirit that lives within me, burdened my heart for my youngest daughter and family. I did begin praying that evening and continued to pray when I woke from sleeping in the early morning. Then I prayed a couple of times during the day.

In the afternoon I prayed a couple of times before receiving a text from my daughter. She said they were driving in heavy rain and a semi-truck hit a pothole and the semi jumped into their lane. They were beside the truck when it jumped into their lane. They were fine and the truck briefly kissed their car and trailer. The truck took off their mirror and dented the trailer they were pulling. The semi did not realize that anything happened. Because of the weather they could not stop on the road since visibility was so low.

My question is, “What would have happened if I had not prayed.” I do not understand the workings of this kind of prayer. I do know, that when the Holy Spirit says you need to pray…..you need to pray

If a burden is placed in your heart by the Holy Spirit, please pray. Pray as if their life depends on your prayer.

Your Prayers Brought Good News

I thank each one of you for your prayers. I had an EKG which showed an abnormal result. A chemical stress test showed the same. It was thought to be from a blockage. So, a heart cath was scheduled.

After the heart cath was completed, the doctor came into my room and said, “I don’t know what you will die from, but it will not be from a heart attack or heart disease.” The doctor did take into account, my age. I will be 74 this month. I figured that he thought I did not have enough time left to develop heart disease or clogged arteries.

I did not tell the doctor that I planned on being alive when Jesus came back. My youngest daughter says she will take care of everyone and she sees me constantly praying. How marvelous will that life be for me.

Where God Placed You For His Kingdom

Are you content where God has placed you? I am talking about your physical address. This is one of the things that has caused me to struggle. In the past, I have allowed this to cause my heart to ache. I am ok with the location I am at, but I wanted more land. At one time, I allowed this to become sin. It was on my mind a lot. I will not admit if it sneaks back now and then.

I have been married twice. My first husband decided he did not want to be a father or a husband. A day after that there was no money for food or anything. He had the only car. I am not going to tell the story about my children and me. God took very good care of us. But I do not want to see my children, or any child hungry again. I thought of ways where that would never happen. Those thoughts would come and go.

There are two children’s homes within a few miles from me. These homes allowed me to express my love for children. There was one child that I will never forget. Her name was Tina. For ten years I was allowed to love her. I have not seen her now for about 45 plus years. I will always love her. I am so thankful that God allowed me to love her.

Every Christmas our church would list families that were not able to give their children a Christmas. The Lord would always touch my heart. He caused more love to grow. I always tried to choose the family with the most children. My children learned from this kind of love.

One of our television stations had a segment once a week with children that wanted to be adopted. The Lord told me no, but I still watched it, just in case He changed His mind. My mind still remembers one of the children that I wanted to love so much. She was 12 years old with red hair and freckles. My love for her did lead me to pray for her.

Another thing I love is animals. If I had a lot of land, I would go to every kill shelter around and rescue all that I could. My heart is really burdened for horses in kill pens.

Also, I wanted cabins, to help people when they needed a place to stay on my ranch. On this ranch. I could rent cabins out on weekends to help bring money into the ranch. But the one rent house we have can help.

God had been totally silent concerning a ranch. My one-sided communication with God felt like my words were landing on deaf ears. But I still talked to him. I ever thought out building requirements and so forth. One day I was talking to Him about cows and how beneficial they would be. God finally said something. He said, “Now Diana, do you really think you could have a cow killed?” I pondered for a moment and said, “No.” All these years, God had been listening to me carrying on and on. I have not talked about a ranch again, but it is still in my heart. I have never brought up the subject of cows.

So I said all of this to share how one can sin, by not being content. Even if it is for a noble cause, it can be a sin. There is nothing wrong with having dreams. Dreams can cause one to better themselves or improve your circumstances. Without dreams, we could not start a business.

Sometimes dreams are passed down to our children or others. Once I shared a building design with a stranger. Within a year he had accomplished what I shared. That accomplishment was beneficial to his family and the community. So ask God and sees what He says. Don’t let it consume you and become sin.

Dreams come from three sources. The first are dreams that come from you. Discuss them with God, before you venture in trying to make them come true without God.

Second, dreams can come from Satan., to keep us from advancing in what God wants us to do. Again, pray.

The third dream can come from God. He places them in your heart. We need to be sure that our dreams are owned by God. God is to be the source of all our fulfillment. Our thoughts and dreams are to be birth by the Lord. Because they are birth by God, you will have joy as you move forward. Beloved, pray. If your dreams are from the Lord, expect problems from Satan. Prayer is important because it invites God into your circumstances. Only He can fight this battle.

I have heard people say that they don’t need to pray. If God wants it to come about, He will cause it to happen. Prayer is vital in all that you do. How can God direct you if you do not call upon His name and you listen? Make God the owner of your dreams. Don’t let it consume you and your thinking. Open your heart to God and rely on Him.

ECHOES OF YOUR HEART

You are standing in your church and praises are being sung. Praises you have sung so many times. They are sung without much thought. Then someone is asked to pray. You listen without much thought.

Remember that I told you that you were a precious treasure to God. A jewel inscribed in His hand where the spikes held Him to the cross. Is that jewel in our Lord Jesus’s crown stating that we will share in His kingdom? We should echo words that someone wrote while being filled with the Holy Spirit.

Beloved, with this being said, how can you sing hymns aimlessly. Why do you not allow your heart to echo the words with returned love. Do not quench the Holy Spirit that God gave to you, so your heart could overflow with love. We are to sing praises with a heart full of love.

Our heart is to echo prayers prayed in church. We are to intercede with a heart full of love for others. We are to meet the Holy Spirit and to plea their case. We are to remain close to the Holy Spirit because He knows the Father’s will. Many cringe when you say, “I will search the Father’s will for you.” Those that cringe will remain weak Christians.

Prayer brings faith. Studying scripture matures ones faith. How else can you walk boldly with confidence. Prayer brings hope with so much joy. In that joy, we are to pray without ceasing.

II Thessalonians 5:16-19 Rejoice always, pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not quench the Spirit.

Be A Man That Walks In God’s Glory

A man must pursue God goodness, holiness, direction in order to lead his family on this journey. A man must have the inner strength to lead his family through the hardships of this world. If a man developes inner strength, fuel by worldly things, one will fail at some point in time. Inner strength given by God will bring about confidence will cause the man be gentle and will do things in love (I Corinthians 11:16:13-14) He will have a spiritual backbone for leading his family. Today’s paths are filled with adversaries. A man must have wisdom and have self-control. In Proverbs 22:24-25, it says not to even associate with a man given to anger, lest you learn his ways.

A man must have a prayer life, (I suggest a prayer life title, “Enter The Throne Room of God) in order to lead his family and the church he attends. He should at times pray with others, especially with his wife. A wife feels more secured and loved with her praying husband and as she walks through life. If she becomes afraid, she not only finds strength in the Lord, but runs to her husband for security an strength. This is a new trinty of Christ, man and woman ( I Peter 3:1-6). Being frighten will only last a moment if she is filled with the Holy Spirit. But she may need to have just a little more, and seeing Jesus within you will help to melt away her fears. She will gladly submit to her husband. (I Perter 3:1). This verse says, “you husbands likewise, live with your wives, in an understanding way, as with a weaker vessel, since she a woman, and grant her honor as a fellow heir of the grace of life, so that your prayer may not be hindered.”

The first scary thing about this verse is the last, “that your prayer may not be hindered.” If a wife does not see Christ in you, she may feel insecured. She may become afraid and scared to submit to you.

If you take time to worship the Lord and allow the Holy Spirit to consume you, loving her as Christ, your wife will follow you and submit with an incredible love. That is, if she is a Christian. If she is a Christian, she will feel the presences of God with you. With this new trinty existing, you will be saturated with His glory, love and divine guidance.

Men should teach things of God to their sons. Men are commanded to do so in Deuteronomy 6:6-7. Also when they are older teach them about the family and how to bless their wives. Remind them that they should do what is right and good in the sight of the Lord, that it may be well with them (Deuteronomy 6:18).

Father’s, do not provoke your children to anger: but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4).

I have seen husbands/wives, that will emotionally and mentally abuse their spouse in order to drive them out of the home. Then they say that they did no wrong because the other spouse left, in order for the church to think different about the situation.

On just about every page of the bible, one can find something on how to know God, consequences of actions, examples of Jesus and wisdom.

There is one more thing I would like to mention, and that is about the times we live. Yes, natural weather needs to be watch. But what is not mentioned often is the behavior of people. The bible states that things will be like in the “days of Noah.” I look at the wickedness of people. I have seen so called Christians become hostile to each other because they did not vote like them, or the color of carpet to be bought for their sanctuary. People are getting more wicked and accepting things that are not right in the eyes of the Lord.

The sad part is that the people have not become as wicked as they were in the days of Noah. The Christian man must be so close to the Lord in order to hear God tell him where he must go to be safe. I am not suggesting to run for the hills. I am suggesting that each on of us, especially men, to do as the Lord instructs. He might have you go on vacation on certain days to avoid a mishap. Or maybe stay home instead of going some place. Just stay close to the Lord so He can move and direct your path. Allow God to be a part of your whole being and feeling His glory.

Beloved men of God, this is the greatest gift you will ever receive. It is the greatest gift you can give your family. Your children may not know why your home brings peace and comfort to them. But they will be drawn to your home and not forget the peace.

Men, this is a high calling. Leave a legacy for your children. Allow God to breathe on you. Teach your children the things of God. Be faithful to God and meet Him daily. Repent of any wrong doing or thinking. Have a direct line to God. You and your wife were made for this moment in time. Live it to the fullness of God. Reflect God.

We Walk Among Lies

A stallion of a wild herd of horses in Wyoming

Remember Eve in the Garden of Eden? Satan mixed truth and lies to deceive Eve. He uses this method today. When you review history, you can see that Satan has used this over and over. He will do anything to stop a person from knowing God’s plan of salvation and His love. Satan now has his demons delivering lies to us. There is a war within us (the flesh) and lies all around us being delivered in various ways.

We must be walking in the Spirit in order to deflect those fiery arrows of lies. Demons have the knowledge of Christ, but they reject that knowledge due to their pride.

Their main job now is to cause God’s Beloved to stumble in their faith. They want to make your faith not be seen by the unsaved. We are in a war for the souls of men and women. There is a line drawn in the sand. You are either with Christ or with Satan. There is no sitting on the fence. I see more distinct lines now of people either following Satan or Christ.

The demons are in spirit form with intelligence. They know Jesus and know about His salvation plan for us. Demons are the arms and legs of Satan. They have different levels of authority just like an army of our world. Demons have different levels of power. So do angels. The demons can influence a Child of God, but not possess them, (Ephesians 6:12). They spread false doctrine.and have emotions. Satan is a created creature of great beauty. Satan is an angel of the Cherubim. Satan has limitations. For example, he can not be everywhere.

Christians can resist Satan, but we need to be on guard. We should know God’s word and be prayer warriors. Do not be silent before God. Your life depends on your relationship with God. Let your words be lifted up to the Lord Jesus Christ. Let the fragrance of your words bring joy to the Father. If you should fall, repent and begin to sing praises. God will chase your heart and renew it. You must repent first. You want your heart to beat for the Lord’s glory.

That can be hard for baby Christians. Daniel was a mature person of faith and still experience problems. In Daniel 10:13, an angel was going to Daniel to answer his prayer when the prince of Persia (a demon) stopped the angel and there was a 21 day fight. Michael had to come and fight the demon. Michael is a high ranking angel. He is an archangel, who disputed Satan over the body of Moses. Read all of Daniel and Jude.

How many times have you heard on the news about some evil act done and they stated they heard voices telling them to do certain things. This is a demon influencing someone.

There are fiction books by Chuck Black that seem to follow this theme. The series is called “War of the Realm”. The 3 books are titled, “Rise of the Fallen, Light of the Last and Cloak of the Light.” I do not remember the order of the series. But it is well worth the read. After an accident, Drew Carter, sees fierce invaders that no one else can see. This is a spiritual warfare series and after the introduction of characters becomes a suspenseful read. https://www.christianbook.com/wars-the-realm-series-volumes-1/chuck-black/pd/425021?event=ESRCG

Most of the time, news reports are slanted so you will believe as they do. Everyone has an opinion which may be true or how they see it. Knowing God’s word with prayer must be active so you can be lead in truth.

Study the book of Ephesians. This book is so rich. Every verse holds a gem. But Ephesians 6 tells about our spiritual battle. We are to stand firm in verse 14 or to dig in with Truth and have a relationship with God. Verse 16 talks about the shield of faith so we can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil ones. We put on this armor with prayer.

Do not ignore this battle we are in daily. Pray constantly. Let your heart sing praises as you walk through life. If you are not close to God, you can be deceived and believe lies. It says in Matthew 24:22-25. “And unless those days had been cut short, no life would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect those days shall be cut short. Then if anyone says to you, ‘Behold, here is the Christ,’ or ‘There He is,’ do not believe him. For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.”
