I CHRONICLES 29:9
Then the people rejoiced because they had offered so willingly, for they made offering to the LORD with a whole heart, and King David also rejoiced greatly.
Do you pray with your whole heart? Or do you just repeat words? Does the Holy Spirit stir within you when you pray? Beloved, does the Holy Spirit accept your prayer and find it acceptable to give to the Lord.
You might want to read the rest of David’s words and pray them. And mean them with your whole heart.
Verse 10 So David blessed the Lord in sight of all the assembly; and David said, “Blessed art Thou, O LORD God of Israel our father, forever and ever.
Verse 11 “Thine, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, indeed everything that is in the heavens and the earth; Thine is the dominion, O LORD, and Thou dost exalt Thyself as head over all.
Verse 12 “Both riches and honor come from Thee, and Thou dost rule over all, and in Thou hand is power and might; and it lies in Thy hand to make great, and to strengthen everyone.
Verse 13 “Now therefore, our God, we thank Thee, and praise Thy glorious name.
The main point of this passage is that the people were thankful in their hearts, and God accepted their thanks. Does God accept your prayers?
If you think the answer is no, then I would write down at the end of every day things that I was thankful for on a piece of paper. Then use this passage or the Psalm’s to help with your praises. Then ask God to put more love in your heart for Him and a desire to seek Him and His Truth. Go to your place of prayer. Not a church but a place where you meet God daily. Pray an acceptable prayer unto the LORD.
